This is the story about friendship between a spirit and a human, built over years spent in the forest every summer. When she was led to the end of the forest by Gin, she promised to come back again with a gift, despite Gin’s advice and warning not to come back again for her own safety.īut you know how stubborn little kids are. Hotarubi no Mori e is about a girl named Hotaru (firefly) who went to explore the ancient forest because of a tale of a mountain god and got lost there. I’ve probably sweat through my eyes watching a quarter of the animes I’ve watched (so that’s about 40 times?) Well no my tears aren’t as precious as fairy’s tears.
